CWLA's 2009 National Conference
Children Today...America's Future!
- All proposals must be submitted electronically through our website form.
When you submit your proposal, you will be asked to provide the following information:
- Basic identifying information about yourself and your co-presenters, if any.
- A brief title that clearly reflects your proposed workshop's content.
- The primary program area of your proposed workshop's content.
- A maximum 25-50 word description of your workshop for the conference brochure
(please write the description in the present tense, e.g.,"This workshop explores..." rather than "This workshop will explore...").
- A workshop summary (maximum 500 words) that gives an overview of the proposed workshop's objectives and content, describes the presentation format, and identifies the target audience.
- A brief biographical summary/resume, not to exceed 200 words, of each presenter.
- Information about the dates of your availability and the equipment you require. Presenters are required to pay for their own LCD projectors, at a cost of approximately $500. If you choose to bring your own, a screen and stand will be provided at no cost.
- Workshop time slots are either 1.5 hours or 3 hours long.
